The Aviation Academic day is part of the strategic MOU between AviLease and Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, to support the development of a skilled national workforce for the Saudi aviation sector.

Edward O’Byrne, CEO AviLease, said: “Having a pipeline of skilled national talent is essential to the expansion and development of the Kingdom’s aviation ecosystem. As an integral part of that ecosystem, we are delighted to support young Saudis as they embark on their first steps in this exciting industry. This investment in education also supports the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and create sustainable career paths for nationals.

AviLease fulfils PIF’s mandate to unlock the capabilities of priority sectors that can support the diversification of Saudi Arabia’s economy and contribute to non-oil GDP growth. In addition, the company supports a thriving aviation sector and drives financial sustainability within the aviation ecosystem, in line with Vision 2030.
